Today was the last day I was in Europe. This picture is also not from today but I really feel like it says goodbye. My three brief weeks here have been some of the most amazing of my life and I have made some incredible friends that I know I will keep. This trip has been made up of moments that have changed me as a person and I will take from those moments wonderful memories which will shape my future. If anyone were to ask me what transpired over this fleeting period of my life they would see a talkative young man at a loss for words. I could say some of the things we students did together but it would sound like I was rattling off a list like a teacher rattles off a roll call. To feel the true essence of the Salzburg Academy you have to be a part of the whole, you must be a single piece in the larger unit. Even now, with the attendees back in the more than 20 countries they live in we are still, and always will be, a single unit. So this post is dedicated to the 67 other students and the incredible faculty who make up the Salzburg Academy of 2012.
